TOMBO™ BRAND ROCK MINERAL WOOL

A high performance insulation material manufactured from molten rocks and bonded with a thermosetting resin. When heat cured, it is formed into a mat and cut into suitable sizes for packaging. Sold under the name of “Tombo M.G. Products”, PT Nichias Rockwool Indonesia is part of Nichias Corporation of Japan. The products can easily be cut into size and shape to suit a variety of applications. 

Tombo M.G. products provide excellent thermal and heat resistance insulation of heated equipment, process vessels and piping used in power stations, petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries, oleo chemical plants, ovens and other process industries. It can also be used in a variety of building applications including partitions, ceilings, curtain walls and fire protection. The products have excellent sound absorbing properties and are classified as non-combustible when tested under BS 476 Pt 4. Tombo M.G. Products are available in either plain or faced with various grades of aluminium foil, Black Matt Tissue, etc.Tombo™ Rock Mineral wool is MS 1020 certified by SIRIM Malaysia.
